In my daily experience of professional problem solving I find that most issues either don’t exist on closer inspection or have a very boring explanation and are easily resolved. Only about 1 in 7 stand up to scrutiny.
Just taking the attitude ‘don’t make a fuss, there is probably nothing to be concerned about’ typically works in the majority of cases.
This is why I always look to fault conspiracy theories, because the truth is usually more obvious and not very interesting.
