I prefer devices like the holy trainer because the lock is integrated. Just looks neat. Also, I've had a cb6000 break on a guy at the seam. The plastic was sharp and lucky he came away undamaged.

The advice I always give guys is to measure themselves at least 3 times. While I have a preference the fit is most important. So pick something suited for your size and purpose. Some devices are for long-term use while others aren't. Also, don't buy an ebay knock off. Too many subs do this and end up with green marks on their cocks. The inside gets rusty etc.

Thanks again for your comments. I now have my new and genuine CB6000s and have been experimenting with the varying sizes of 'U' ring and locking pin to work out which combination is best for me before I wear it for any length of time.
