Poppers in Amsterdam.

A few months have passed by and I've almost exhausted the 3 popper bottles I got in Amsterdam. It is hard for me to be completely precise about the effects as I have reached an age when sexual urges have greatly diminished, so I don't know how hard the hits might have been if I'd been 20 years younger. I also suffer now from the lack of erection that poppers only makes worse.

I still get a minor hit from the remaining part of the last "Amyl" bottle even though there is only about a quarter left. I think that in all likelihood it is the good old fashioned popper variant, not the iso-propyl stuff we are stuck with in this country (unless Slutty can disclose his source for the old fashioned variant that appears to work for him).

Enough confidence to ensure I will try to get more of the "Amyl" the next time I'm in Amsterdam.

I was in Amsterdam again last week and went to the aforementioned shop for some more poppers, hoping to get lucky. I got 3 of the larger bottles for 25 Euro, none of the so called "Amyl" labels being available. Having tried two since I got home I conclude that these are just the usual Isopropyl variants you also get in the UK. Disappointed.
However I also had supplies of Viagra with me and lo and behold, Polish Anna from the covered area of the main red light district was on duty (she had not been there on my last four trips). First of all I had a pre-rolled joint - my research indicated that the Sativa variant gave you energy, whereas the Indica variant might detract from sexual performance. I went for the so-called strong Sativa. To be honest I didn't get much of a hit from the joint. Both the joint and Viagra were given enough time to take effect before finally seeing Anna (she is always very busy).

The last time I went to Amsterdam i went to a place called Boerejongens, which someone told me sold the best weed. I bought a gram of three different strains, including an ultra strong indica, but they didn't label the bags so i had no idea what I was smoking.

The first two had little effect, the third just about blew my head off. I suspect it was the strong indica one, but have no way of knowing.

I smoked it outside my hotel and suddenly my legs felt a bit weird. I went to bed, lay down and my whole body suddenly felt incredibly relaxed. I stretched to get in a comfortable position and felt a sudden 'wave' come over me. I should have just gone with it but instead I kept on resisting it. After a couple of hours the waves were still coming but a lot milder so I eventually I just went with one and it was blissful. A sort of floaty, happy feeling that would be perfect in a session, but probably not advisable unless it was very mild activities with someone you know well.

Be careful out there, it can be strong stuff. A mate of mine passed out in a coffeeshop after eating a hashcake and smoking a spliff. I would just stick to smoking. Keep on taking two drags with a 10-20 minute break inbetween is good advice.

The RLD looked awful. If I went again i would avoid Amsterdam and try a smaller, non-touristy town. Most seem to have domination houses but get the impression they are nothing special compared to what is already on offer in the UK.
