Lovely clear site, easy to navigate and easy to understand. I would however say I think you're a specialist as opposed to a nurse ;-)

You spawny b*gger ! I had my eye on that one and intended purchasing it myself. Oh well, next time I will have to ensure I buy the mask before posting the link. Have fun in your new found latex sanctuary. P.S When you receive the item could you see if there is a drinking tube in those masks ? I think they were in service around the 70's and 80's by which point the Russian military might have acted on the need to keep their personnel hydrated as well as protected. GP5's were not equipped with any drinking facility. I note from your blog posts that you seem to often get thirsty during a session with your Mistress, or at least your Mistress decides you are thirsty ! Kind Regards, The Fireman.

Set up of the mask is quite complex and a little fiddly in two places. The mask comes with two filters, two filter covers , a small box of filter papers and of course the GM. There are no instructions; presumably russian soldires were well drilled in fitting the GM The first thing is to insert the kidney shaped filters into the cheek parts of the mask. The inner mask is retained by two small studs through to the outer mask; undoing these is easy. Ensuring that the filters fit snugly and the air inlet sealed into the mask holes, attach the two inlet covers over the protruding stubs of the filters. The fiddly bits are re-attaching the small studs from the inner mask to the outside. It requires a bit of rubber stretching to achieve this. That's it, all set up and ready for use. The gas mask is a snug fit, covers the ears and severely impacts on hearing. It is a heavy mask but comfortable to wear but there is no drink tube so extended wearing may leave you thirsty. Summary, It will be fiddly to clean and may not lend itself to frequent chamber use but for just a shad over £20, it was a good purchase but size 4 would be better for my bigger head if it were available. I will ask my Mistress if we can try it out shortly. Hope this helps? |
