Who is bangbuddy?
I logged on today and found that I have two private messages from someone calling themselves bangbuddy.
The message headings are shown below. Sex Dating Membership For www.uk-mistresses.com Members - Horny Girls From Your Area Are Ready To Fuck! 06:39 BangBuddy 08-01-2011 Sex Dating Membership For 216.131.80.27 Members - Horny Girls From Your Area Are Ready To Fuck! Seems that we have been infiltrated by spammers.

In the last month we have had 68 new joiners and that number does not include the joiners we have deleted as spammers of that 68 only 30 have made a post.
I do check the members list and ban as spammers new members with adverts ie .com in their signatures or profiles as for the ones that don't have that I do not know if they are genuine or not |

It's possible to ban spammers before they get approved as members by checking user names and registration email addresses against known spamming lists. It's extra work, but saves the membership getting spamming messages and spamming threads appearing on the board.
