Default Using a dongle

Being away from home, I bought a Vodafone dongle a couple of days ago and decided to give it a try. Although uk-mistresses is subject to content control a Google search for 'fluffy bunnies mistress' returns the thread 'Happy Birthday Mistress Alana'! You can navigate from there to the rest of the forum. Might be worth noting if you're on the move. It works very well, by the way, with 30 hours' browsing for £15!

Agreed - they are useful for people on the move. Content control is set by default but it's easy enough to get it disabled - as I recall it's a matter of calling Vodafone and waiting 48 hours or so for them to reset your device.

I have had a mobile dongle for over a year now, it's from '3' and costs £15 per month for 5 Gigs of download which I've never reached, certainly more than 30 hours a month. I don't seem to have ever hit on any 'content control' problems with it that I can remember? I use the dongle for both mobile use and office based work, preferring to disconnect from the company network when doing my 'own' surfing at lunchtimes - lol!

I've used one too for over a year now as I am on the move a lot. I mainly use it for email and it works pretty well. Just a bit slow if someone sends a whole load of JPEGs. Haven't used it for UKM so can't report any issues there. Only connectivity sometimes, but I think thats the Vodaphone network, have the same problem with my phone, much preferred O2.
