I would like to thank geordiesouth for arranging the mini munch yesterday.

Its was just unfortunate that for a number of us other life pressures conspired against us attending.

There may be an attempt to arrange something on another date, but what has become clear from this thread is the day of the week and times is almost impossible to match every ones preferences.

Poshy talked me into trying one more time.

So sometime in the new year we can go for a midweek meet.
Those of us better placed can meet up in the afternoon and for those poor individuals who have to work for a living

Well they could meet up later.

Of course now I am envisaging there will be some out there who will say,
"But I work night shifts".

Tough

That'll work better for me (especially afternoon!) - my other half's grandchild minding commitments are limiting us to doing things at weekends. They mean that weekdays are much freer for me

Great day after all, yesterday.

So good to see so many old faces, Bobo, Jasper, Socrates, and, of course, Daisy.

GS actually bought a round! And - Daisy - I won't forget i owe you twenty quid.

I have leaned on GS to arrange a weekday evening event and he is considering it. If he does, it would be good to see some mods and some of the newer faces.

Meanwhile, onwards and upwards!

Bought a round.

I'm having therapy after that meet.
That gay bar is a nice place but the look on Poshys face when the barman told him how much the round was. Exquisite to say the least.

Great afternoon and perhaps I could just let you glimpse into one of the highlights of the day.

GG getting off the barstool and bending over to get something from the bag. The guy on the table behind us nearly spat his beer out as he glimpsed her bum under her short dress.

By popular request from all those who have limited availabilities

The next meet up (Let's stop calling it a munch shall we) Shall be midweek. Sometime in the new year.

So let's keep this thread alive and let's hear from those folk hoping to make it this time.

All I would suggest is let me know good evenings for it and please let's stick to that gay bar. It's central, it's an ok place with lots of other places around it to go too if some folk feel a bit queezy.

February, March might be nice. GG and I celebrate our birthdays, seeing as they are close together.
Yes I know...... before anyone says it. It maybe similar birth dates but not similar age.
