Anyone know anything about Powerline adapters to strengthen the wi-fi signal.

I'm not saying I have a big house. But there is a certain room I sometimes frequent with the old laptop and the Internet just keeps dropping or is incredibly slow.

Ok I admit it. It's the bunker I had built when I heard about certain countries having weapons of mass destruction. You know what I mean.

Just thought one of these adapter thingies might be the answer.

You can actually extend a lan (local area network) via the standard electricity supply and a couple of adapters from Maplins. Other suppliers of this equipment are available. This should penetrate the bunker.

Why not just stay out of those rooms where the power drops. It would save you having to buy extra leads.

Because they are dark and mysterious and full of feeling. Just the environment when surfing the more evil of sites.
The little known UKM-gardening corner for example.
