It is very common for third party transactions to be declined. Third party is when delivery address and billing address (the one your bank knows about) are different, the automatic assumption being that it is a fraudulent transaction. The only way you can successfully place an order online is to have the delivery to your home address. Or have someone else buy them for you.

Stick to powerpoppers.com. They are the only site I can recommend.

If the money had been taken by my bank, and then the transaction rejected, the funds would be returned to my account. They show no sign of doing this. However, I do concede that I haven't yet to be able to access my bank statement, so I haven't definitely seen that it was PowerPoppers who took the money which is gone from my account. I'll go into a bank tomorrow and check for sure. Last edited by loser9000; 27-01-2011 at 20:18. |

It's very confusing - the packaging looks identical, and they make a big deal of it being manufactured in Canada, etc. |

New to the threads, but a few points on poppers and iso propyl nitrite etc (IPN) also applies to the others they are all members of a family, the quality depends on how well they are made and then kept. I would imagine many are diluted, they decompose with heat and light to an acid, which will give brown fumes in air. There shouldn't be contaminants of hydrochloric acid present, since after making them you wash and nuetralise them finally drying the product. The decompsition products and the original material may well affect plastics. This does not mean they will have the same affect on skin etc, there are many examples of this think about acetone used for nail lacquer remover. Any further q's pm me etc

Okay, so, it was my cock-up. Both times I placed the order with PowerPoppers but they don't take the money straight from your bank account, I guess they process it manually, typically the next day. But both times it turned out I had other debits go out of my account, so it bounced.
However, it's still a bit odd that they ignored both my emails. And according to Archive.org they haven't updated their site since March 2008, which does make me wonder how it can be an accurate reflection of what they have in stock: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...erpoppers.com/ |

I walked into a UK sex shop yesterday to pick up some Liquid Gold, which is the least-bad of the isopropyl nitrites which (for now) are all I know.
To my surprise I saw bottles of 25ml Jungle Juice on the shelves. This led to an interesting conversation with the guy behind the counter. "This is a fake", I said. "No it isn't - it's the real deal!" he assured me. "Oh, so are you openly selling an illegal product? Because the real deal would mean it's amyl/alkyll, which is illegal." "Listen, I'm just telling you it's the real deal..." I took a look at the small print on the label and saw a London address. At that point I realized it couldn't be real. The text on the back was in French. I skimmed it and didn't see any description of the ingredients. Then, rather hastily, I handed over an extortionate £15 for what I knew must be a fake bottle, despite the contradictory claims being made by the assistant. I wanted to believe! Looking at the bottle more closely later, sure enough I saw in the French text that it's isopropyl nitrite. There was also a website address - it's this stuff: http://www.fun-line.com/en/jungle-ju...-277-1268.html Haven't bothered to try it yet, doubt it can be much better than any of the other commonly available UK brands. Wayback isn't accurate, never has been. If you read Wayback they do say Material typically becomes available here 6 months or more after collection ...so anything any site has ever updated in the last 6 months isn't going to show.
