I don't know how this might impact on advertising revenues but seeing 103 active posters out of 109 is just so good.
It is good isn't it? :)
A user becomes inactive if they haven't visited the board for a set number of days. The actual number of days is set by the Administrator. I think that the six inactive users are probably some of the people who were around when the board was being beta tested but haven't been back recently.

The great thing for me, this is only the begining. The new board can
go in so many new directions. Addon packs, skins, room for banners.
We can add so much more content. Get the listings up to date and held
online in a sensible way. Get some banners on (so we can afford more
bandwidth) The sky is now the limit.
Good times are ahead.

Hello cerbie! I think you could do well with the future prospect of banners & I certainly would place My banner here!

I haven't got a banner....................:crylol: but all I will say is that I hope that the board goes from strength to strength. It did go a bit into the doldrums during the year, lets hope the board can go on to better things. :shooting::tumbleweed:We need the classifieds section back now.

I may have picked up this post wrong "so we can afford more bandwidth"
operative word being afford, daft question what's to stop every member sending say £5 or £10 to contribute towards more bandwidth.
Just an idea after all the members are the ones who keep it going.:shooting::tumbleweed:

We might add a pay-pal donation button.. once things are a bit
more settled..
However.. LS and I both strongly agree that UK-M will never,
ever, ever, EVER.. become a pay-site :old_thumbs-up:
So we, fairly naturally, stay away from asking for any form of
payment for access or membership perks.
A donation system... maybe... There are crosses to bear if we do
that. For every voice of sanity at the moment there are equal
voices of attack.
We'll see how it goes *smiles*

Fair enough, not a PPV site (pay per view) but I would be willing to donate to the upkeep of the site if it helped.:shooting::tumbleweed:

LS and I are both very touched by these offers. Simply because they
were unexpected we don't have a mechanism in place to deal with
them.
We have our thinking caps on *winks*
Thank you very much everyone. We are honestly touched.

I think the pay pal donation is a good idear that way its not a pay site and people have the choice.
Also some Mistresses banners would be a good idear.
I so agree and glade you don`t want to make it a pay site:old_thumbs-up:

I agree Passingout, it is good, and maybe a total overhaul of members was what it needed. That way they can ditch those who were members and never logged on, and hopefully the fresh look will encourage more new members to join in with topics etc.
originally part of a post by cerberus (even managed to get his name right) :
"LS and I are both very touched"
Just in case anyone is in any doubt, I wish to catagorically state, that I have never touched either of the aforementioned.
