View Full Version : How did you spend your extra hour?
A post by mikeysports on antother thread (tundra time) informed us that he would spend his extra hour relaxing before a session.
That got me thinking, (dangerous I know) but how, apart from sleeping did any of you spend the extra hour doing something interesting?
My body is tuned to wake up at 6am for work, today I woke up at 7:50 BST or 6:50 and I couldn't get back to sleep.
So I was up, changing clocks around (bloody things) then having a coffee and wrapping up items ready for posting that I had sold on E Bay.
Not exciting is it ? Maybe we should run a poll for the most boring post of the year, I think this one could be a winner.

Picking out horses feet and sewing a bit of my costume for Halloween......obviously not at the same time :)

I'm saving mine up and am going to use it in the middle of a session with my Mistress - an extra hour in a session sounds much better to me than anything I could do today...

You wouldn't believe it could happen during a recession. The place had been on the market with no offers since April. The very day I put in an offer somebody else did too. The vendor rejected both offers as too low and it ended up as a dutch auction where we were asked for our best offers. His best offer was higher than mine.
After searching rightmove.co.uk all weekend I decided to go back to the agents and ask them to tell the vendor I had increased my best offer. They opened up best offers again and he beat me again! So he is now paying full asking price for an apartment that was on the market for 6 months and I'm looking again... :(

I know this may sound a little off (and its certainly not meant to!!) but I did wander if you were building your hopes up too soon especially when you posted about the premises and what you would/could do with it etc & posting the pic as your avatar !!!
Its just awful when you are let down with an almighty thud and I'm sorry but I would be inclined to keep looking and when you do find somewhere that looks promising maybe keep stuum about it and go with the flow, just until at least you have got somewhere near to being the proud owner of!!!
Wishing you lots of luck in your search,,,,things happen for a reason I believe and know from past experiences in seeking out premises.

I spent most the hour resetting loads of clocks and watches in the house and in the cars, bit of a waste of an hour :-)

Am very sorry that that happened to you. I hope you can find somewhere better and cheaper.

Think I've just spent an hour getting daughter tickets to see Bon Jovi at the London O2 Arena next June.
Good job we had that extra hour.
