Love it.
McLaren looking like the team to beat this season after their win in China yesterday.
With our Lando finishing 2nd and George completing the podium they will both be pleased with their choice of team in 2025. Love to see it…  Ferrari though flattered to deceive. After struggling to keep in touch with the front runners during the race the best they could manage was a meagre 5th place for Leclerc, before both cars were later disqualified for breaching technical regulations. The haters are really going to love that one ! Kind Regards, Page 130.

Against the odds.
Fantastic win by Verstappen in the Japanese GP this weekend.
Completely against the odds with the Red Bull car trailing the McLaren for pace the champion pulled out a last ditch effort to secure pole and then was able to convert it into a win. No doubt the undisputed talent of the master racer was able to make up for the deficiencies of the car. A more than admirable win for Max…  With our Lando second and Piastri third it tightens the lead of the championship. Ferrari’s top driver, Leclerc, managing a respectable (albeit a rather distant) fourth ahead of our George. …socking it to the lovers. They are going to hate that !!! Kind Regards, Page 130.

Japanese Grand Prix 2025...
The McLaren’s messed up, by failing to split their strategies. It was a great win by Verstappen, but Norris’ performance was underwhelming, seeming to be happy with second place points and finishing ahead of his team mate. The race was boring and there was a total gulf between it and the halcyon days of the Senna/Prost rivalry at Suzuka. You have to try harder than Norris, at Suzuka to overtake, when you have similarly powered cars. Indeed, the finishing order for the first 7 cars was the same as the starting grid, making the circuit akin to the Monaco parade.
Jeremy Clarkson said it well "That F1 race this morning gave me an idea of what it might be like to watch cricket.” Actually, cricket is more interesting at the moment...

I lost all interest in F1 when the grid girls were removed.
It’s gone downhill bit by bit ever since. It’s saving grace. It’s cured my insomnia.
