Aspergers
I watched a Louis Theroux documentary recently about the 'sex industry'. One of the escorts featured was described as either having Aspergers or autism. To be honest, it wasn't very comfortable viewing.
I wonder how much neurodiversity there is on either side of the pro-domme scene? |

Interesting question.
I wonder how many might conceal for fear of adverse reaction. I was reading a discussion on a domme's twitter feed where an escort with hearing difficulties was mulling over how clients would think about her wearing hearing aids. |

In total.

After an afternoon recently my lady friend and I were just chatting the other day and we concluded that an escort with false teeth could benefit from the gummy possibilities. She could charge at least £20 extra for leaving her Waterloo teeth on the bedside cabinet. I would only start to worry if she placed them next to her false leg, robotic hand, prosthetic nose, glass eye...and wig. At that point you must be well within your rights to ask for a discount, or at least enquire about a doggy bag to see if you can take the unused components home over the weekend ! No, on second thoughts leave the robotic hand on, and set it to max strength. Kind Regards, Stephanie Austin, The $6m Woman.

She was concerned that they would detract from her appearance.
I guess some punters might be looking for the "perfect woman" and that, in their mind, hearing aids weren't part of that fantasy. Pretty much everyone was encouraging her to go ahead. As a wearer of hearing aids myself they are now barely visible and can be further concealed by hair (if I had any!) And, as someone said, saying pardon a lot may not be hugely attractive, either. |

Yes. Just like that.
With the occasional puzzled “sorry” thrown in for good measure.

On a personal note. It would not matter to me if a Dom I was visiting was wearing a hearing aid. I think perhaps I would look at her as being honest and open which would make her all the more normal to me.
It is certainly one of those strange things about folk I have never fathomed. I know someone who definitely needs a hearing check but will they go and have one. No. Because they might be told they need to wear a hearing aid. The mind boggles. They wear glasses for fecks sake. What is the effin difference. Now a Dom in glasses. That is always a turn on for me.

As someone who found out out of the blue that I qualified for hearing aids it was a bit strange. I was quite resistant at first but modern aids are practically invisible and I have got used to them. I tend to only wear them when I am out and about. I live by myself so just turn the telly up a bit more. I guess there is a sense that hearing aids go with being older and some of us, also, remember the big clunky aids of the 69s and 70s. It is interesting because most of us don't think twice about getting glasses. Indeed they are fashion items |

I agree Lisal.
Perhaps if hearing aids started to be thought of along the same lines as glasses. Fashion items in a range of different colours. I would have no problem wearing one or two. I would rather hear better.
