Start of a Bank Holiday weekend !

Brucie* played The Stadium of Sh*te in Sunderland on Wednesday in the lashing wind and rain of a thunderstorm.

Think he might have been having a bit of a laugh when he opened with this one which he hadn’t played live for about 7 years.

Great song. Such brilliant high note mastery.

Peter Green’s tonal clarity at high speed is notable. Instead of the usual unintelligible flurry we get for many of our guitar megastars, every single note from Peter is clean and distinct.

A friend went on Wednesday and said he was fantastic. The friend is not known for his over enthusiasm or giving uncritical opinion about anything.

This is actually a better version of that opener from his Hyde Park concert in 2009. A showman totally in control of his music and just enjoying the audience as much as they are enjoying him. That strutting at the end.
